I was looking at my gear. I so need to go on a money run.

& get leveled EQ... Holy Yaks Milk ( Crit part of my set up needs an Update. Im not dropping mobs as fast as I use to)

...and what is this post about?....I'm entirely lost MORE than normal...

that Im finding out that the CRIT part of my set up is lacking..

& that I was freaking out at how slow im getting at taking out mobs ( As proof to how Crit/rangers need updated equipment) DAMN.......

Is that bette man.

There is nothing complicated here. This is probably the most logical path most pure critical rangers will take:

1. Put everything into AGI, and find +AGI armor and weapons with +X% to critical hits (oh, guess...)

2. Never, and I mean NEVER let mobs dog pile on you...you'll be dead in a few swings, my friend has a crit ranger and he either kites to pick them off or uses a meat shield

3. You should consider using Chill Bill...really, most excellent in PvE, the mobs will just swarm on him while you pick them off with a simple stand-shoot technique from a safe distance

4. Not killing creeps fast enough? Two possible answers; a) you have outdated gear b) please don't tell me you kill them one at a time when they all make a merry friendship cricle around you...try using Gaseous Blast and Noxious Shot

Gas is used as of late when they do dog pile. normally I railgun them from max range tho latly im find the output is lacking.. =[ yeah due to eq (equipment is outdated)

crit shot % gear with High Agi wee bit im end cuz I do like to push throw dungeons a bit.

I checked your sheet mate, and found the following problems...


1. Your gear is pretty much outdated. You're still in the level range for Rotgut, knock yourself out till you get what you need.


2. Only two pieces of your EQP give you +X% to critical hits...and those bonuses aren't that much...try to have at least six items that give you a bonus to crit shots...not all of them have to be RB or purple of course


3. I recommend re-specing. You have points in STR and INT which is pretty unneccessary if you're building a crit ranger. If you're going for a more poison oriented build, don't skip putting some points into INT and get Bookworm and Mental Prowess as well.


4. Now for you skill bar; get rid of Spontaneous Regeneration and Heal Self not Other---with Bookworm you'll have enough mana for the inexpensive poison skills, and as a crit ranger with low HP there is no need for a self healing spell. Consider putting Poison Shot as your L. Keep Noxious Shot where it is. Keep Spirit of The Hare-good for kiting when you combine it with Poison and Noxious Shot. Try using Gaseous Blast to clear out the fodder which gets in the way, and use Acidic Blight to ensure more safe/crit hits. Add the fighter passive Gym Freak, you get a small AGI bonus which doesn't mean much at your lvl, but you also get +50% more HP. More health is always welcome. You also might want to lower your END a bit in favor of your AGI.

In fact, you did not became worse in any way. In fact, with you the mobs leveled up more, which are better now. Youa re not worse, the mobs are better

oops! =] yeah I was playing dodge the mobs thats why my skill bar is that set up, trying to see if Sam, was in Embercore level 4.

So go play with Rotgut? okay I check him & his cronies out,.. Abby was mopping the floor with me. (Man I'd like to make a weapon-less monk with abby's knock backs..
