Is there dual monitor support in DR?
#50585 - 03/09/08 04:04 AM |
Was wondering if there is multi-monitor support in the DR Client. I have a dual monitor rig and when I attempt to play DR on it, the game only appears on my primary monitor and doesn't "span" across both monitors, even though I have told XP to extend my desktop on the 2nd monitor. Any definitive answer would be greatly appreciated because unless I am not using the search feature correctly, there doesn't seem to be any information on this topic that I could easily find. -C -------------------- Character Stats |

Unfortunately, no. I too would really value this improvement, but I have not seen any indication that this is in the works either. I believe it is probably a limitation of the game's graphics engine. However, the game is being reworked to use a different engine later, so ... who knows. Hopefully a dev will weigh in here and give us the "straight poop." While I would not necessarily want the game to span my two displays, I would like to be able to open my inventory and skills interfaces as well as the big map on my second monitor. -------------------- A computer once beat me at chess, but it was no match for me at kick boxing. - Emo Philips |

2 monitors would allow me to have a greater area view for 1st person. I personally hate the 3/4 "top down" view ala Fallout or Baulders Gate, etc... -------------------- Character Stats |
