random running around after fast travel
#48550 - 02/18/08 02:29 PM

When I teleport somewhere, respawn, or reset instances, sometimes I randomly run around, sometimes straight but lately it made me go around in a circle... hard to stop though lately pressing R's worked for me... is this normal? am i pressing some special key which makes you auto run or sometin? anyone help out?

Go into your options and turn off edge rotation. That'll help, I think.

yea, there u go, that happened to me alot, if ur mouse goes to r or left edge ur're view turns.

My problem really stems from me loosing my curser in the malae, I HATE THAT! and i can't tell where it is, so had had to disable that feature.

is there a way to change the pointer?

Make sure that when you teleport that you never have your inventory window or your map open. This problem occurs for some users in that instance. Its a known bug and is supposedly being addressed in this update forthcoming.
