Focus your elemental bonuses and possibly dump Gaseous Blast. I cannot tell exactly if this is a good build or not, since I can't see what your stats are in PvP, but some of your equipments are outdated. Might consider replacing those whose levels are too low.

I tried to get some better armour from the mage guy who trades armor with kcs. They suck.

Yeah WH, I save my KCs for sam, since with 2 other toons, I squandered my KCs trying to get good drops. Then I realized I could get WAY better drops farming alone. I think the "KC vendors" will need to be upgraded soon to make people start using them again. Three months ago there were always people there, now it's just a parking lot/staging area near the banker for trading, lol.

go to a boss that u can farm and farm it for your lvl things and get some some end gear (for hp)

Yup, I farm at the snow chief and sis many times. But its hard to get a good body.

I think this is a good start, I also believe you need a lot more shadow bonus.

For starters most of your damage is due to your int and since you have BSoL and a lot of end in your gear for your level then maybe drop your end and put all 40 end points into int.

That should increase your damage significantly. I also would lose lightning and replace it with smack-down. And get gear closer to your level where needed.

Other then those things i think your ok and off to a decent start.

well at lvl I know bsol sucks. Shimerraa does well with all end gear and so does my friend. I would seriously in my opinion wait till next build as the best pvpers might not be untill they gather the right gear.

Acidic Blight decreases the Defense Rating of enemies. Magical attacks, however, ignore Defense Ratings completely. So no, in the case of a Mage soloing, Acidic Blight is completely and utterly useless.

if u lower there defense rating easier chance of killing them and getting ahead to win so its a good idea to use

JF, Necro is right in this case if we're talking about a mage causing magic damage.

AB only reduces defense rating: which makes them easier to hit with MELEE attacks, not magic. So if you're playing a shadow mage, then you should never be planning to get into melee where you would actually use AB. AB is a waste of a skill and mana for a "true" mage to use. A battle mage would be a different thing altogether I suppose, but that's not what we're talking about in this case. There are a LOT of people that have a misconception about this, don't feel bad, lol.

AAnna,I only use shadow lightning when fighting more than one person or doing PvE.

I don't think END helps in PvP.

Ok... but the re-spec thing only works for a short period of time now. Currently I'm only adding INT.

BSoL is not exactly considered a buff for INT Mages: more like something completely essential, like HP and Mana.

And, I can assure you that unless you are a Mage with a powerful BSoL, END is very important for PvP. Fighters with low END fall flat on their face before they even reach Rangers and Mages. Mages with a mediocre BSoL and low END stand no chance at all, unless you happen to be extremely good at Kiting. Rangers... I don't know about Rangers, but PvPers like Rainger and all those other Ranger Twinks all have high END.

For the record, with 50 end and 50 agi in base points, I come out on 1.2 - 2.5k dmg with 90-100k hp or so.

You cant have BSoL and high end and win fights. You may live a little longer but your damage is nerfed tremendusly due to lower int.

As a mage in the current state of the game you need to kill faster then you ever had and there isnt any better way then all int.

Rangers are a different story all together. They need to spec to get good crits mages dont. As the poster is a mage then thats who i am addressing.

BSoL isnt an int buff its a mana gobbling melee damage ablative and at low levels its not as effective as higher levels but that could be said for every spell in the game.

It costs a ton of mana in combat to use so if your good at kiting you wont need it anyway. If you need to use the BSoL youll need alot of int.

If you go with an end mage build youll be out of mana before you kill anyone. I was an end mage before the nerf.

I tried every combo to make end mages effective after the patch and finally decided the best way is to kill as fast as possible and never stay a stationary target for long.

Against a ranger like LR you cant even run BSoL and have enough mana to kill because LR's shots per second will have a full Int mage's mana depleted just trying to keep you alive.

But an end mage wont have enough mana to kill LR before LR fires a single arrow.

I'm no expert i'm just giving you my suggestions for whatever theyre worth. I run BSoL btw and am full int and unless i fight a full agility ranger BSoL is almost always on. I've only got around 550 wins but i dont play alot. My mage is lvl 33.

But BSOL has saved me from death many times (and I'd only run out of mana if the opponent is higher or stronger than me). Oh, and my account has been updated on some stuff.
