Something must be done about World 2!!

World 2 is out of control. Something must be done. Surely the accomplished coders and world designers (and their bothersome producers) can find some way to ameliorate the pain and suffering the populace of World 2 has to endure. It's almost too terrible to write about ... *shivers* *whispers* They're singing 1970s songs -- really, really bad 1970s songs -- on the /world channel. Ummmmmm and does world 2 block the "ignore" feature available to you? You might want to make a trip to world 7 for a couple of days and one of two things will happen: 1. You will learn and be passed the knowledge of how to ignore ppl consistently - it can be hard to master, but we will train you padawan... OR 2. You will experience much WORSE and consistent signing of songs, quotes from Monty Python movies, open ended skits that have nothing to do with the game at all, and blatant random outburts of inappropriate things like BORK BORK BORK, I borked SC, Bork you! hahahahahahahahah AND THEN... you will actually appreciate world 2 like you never have before.  So here's your choice. ::opens closet and holds out white robes and tambourine, gesturing to the giant golden statue of St. Iggy standing in the town center then starts dancing and chanting with the others...JOIN US JOINS US JOIN US!:: or ::opens technical manual for DR...hmmm...."here it is!". walks over to photocopier....""bwooooooooo eeep" hands over ignoring instructions - "right click the offender's name, scroll down to the words "ignore this user", left click, enjoy silence, done!" That just earned me a big fat "ignore" didn't it? lol, oh well. Welcome to he who partly embodies the nirvana that has become WORLD 7! We send all the crazies packing to world 2.  |

The whole thing is a big joke LR, sorry to make you think I was being in any way, shape, or form serious. I thought I had done a good job of making it entirely obvious of that, but everyone has their own perception. I'm not putting you or the other world 2'ians down at all. It was all a shameless plug for w7, while at the same time making light of the situation (cuz I was kinda saying that we're MORE weird than what the poster was describing most days on w7 - hence the thing that w2 would be more appreciated after visiting us, lol). I wish sometimes people could here the tone/inflexion of my voice so that things would be more clear they were comical - it's sometimes hard to do with just words and some emotes. No worries, LR! ::slaps him on the back with a big, hairy wookie paw, hand, thing...:: I love you man! Plus, if any "crazies" were getting sent to w2 - I'm SURE I'd be strapped to the FRONT of that steaming locomotive! LOL |

Hi all, So it is something you all have to deal with. Being new to W2, I feel better now because I wasn't sure if my feelings about some of my exp. in game/chat/group were justified. Well yes and no, everyone is playing diffirently at various times with alternate mindsets not to mention stratigies, game plans, speed and what ever else makes each day a new experiance, and oh yea some arent' even playing the game,ha. So i wont' fret about having a long iggi list there are so many peeps to meet and choose from, make the game ur own, play the way u want, slow, fast, fun, coin, quests. I'm still learning who/how/when to move on from whatever is not entertaining me. And if i'm being to serious i think i'll go solo. Well i ramble on... look forward to meeting some of u in the campain, seeya. |

That's right: DR is an enjoyable, "light," tongue-in-cheek, fun game that a lot of us come to on purpose to get away from the "seriousness" that we've found in other game comunities and "real life." So take from it what you want, ignore the rest (technically and metaphorically) and just enjoy yourself in whatever way you find the most enjoyable. I'm POSITIVE that I'm on a BUNCH of peoples' iggy lists simply because half of my gaming time is spent conversing with people and trying to make my (and as many other of my friends' as possible) days a little better/happier. That's absolutely fine since everyone comes here to take something different out of DR for their own specific idea of enjoyment. As long as people are cordial, have manners, and respect other people (including myself asking them to iggy me if they dislike the world convo that they don't particularly care to be a part of) then eveything will be a'ight! Carry on... Just keep runnin', Just keep runnin', Just keep runnin', runnin', runnin'..... What do we do?! WE RUN!!!!!! (and endlessly farm for rainbows of course!)  |

LOL...I didn't know you were japanese fungus! Although, your cat kinda looks like a samurai warrior...There was also a recent case of a friend/friend situation here in the good ol' USA where one friend gave the other his log on/account info for a WoW character to use for a bit. The borrowing friend "sold" the character on ebay without telling the other - and when he found out, he came over to his house with a shotgun and blasted the whole front of the guys house. Luckily he wasn't home, or he for sure would have gotten PWN'D by the real life "Duke Blaster," lol. |

That's nothing. In W2, you should try mentioning something from Search for the Holy Grail. Mere mention of Castle Anthrax results in people spontaneously quoting verbatim several minutes of the movie. |
