Hmm, I think there may be a bug in the forum software. I kinda figured ya'll strip HTML out of signatures and posts, but thought I'd try putting MythicalJeff's character gadget into my sig anyways.

Long story short, I added the script to put the google gadget in my sig block. Clicking preview showed.... nothing, it just loaded forever... Saving yielded nothing.... (Well in the first 10 seconds I waited).

Are you, by any chance, not stripping HTML out, or if you are, are you missing the script /script tag? Just wondering.

Scripts arent supported in the signatures forever.. but if tis laoding forever it might be good for the devs to fix that.. as it will cause chaos if nothing will be done

Nop, scripts not supported, and I am 100% sure of that.

Since URLs work, is it possible to use a URL as a passthrough to the script?

Btw, the same thing happens when you add url to your avatar- it just hangs and eventually times out. If you do it twice or hit back, however, it seems to store it.

Sadly, there are a few forum bugs here and there...on the moderator side of things I sometimes run into them myself. So far none of them have been major *knocks on wood* but we do know that they are there. For now I'm afraid we're going to have to live with them until we get some new forum software running. Our current software is getting old and outdated, but I assure you that if anything major breaks we'll be on hand to fix it

And I assure you I won't break anything intentionally... or think "Gosh I hope they block X", again...
