for the first time now i've decided to fill some things in on pvp just a few tips ive come across some of the way >
this post will be about mages ..and how to fight them ...101 ,your opinion on how the story ends ..or what u think works best for u to beat a mage is up to YOU to decide ..i am only offering some helpfull ideas that u may not know about mages ..and how to beat them...
,granted ...i will admit openy i get smoked by mages alot ...but ..i can say no mage that plays the game ..atm ..can say they have never been beaten by me if they have pvped me ...i have beated them all...at one time or another ...with that said :
mages can cange tactics very quickly ...best to be safe and find a way to put all 3 resistances in the bar in the beginning of the fight ...b 4 it begins ...this option was made ..on the intentions of u haveing the chance to do so b 4 u fight a mage ...if u however for some reason u may know they are only gunna use 2 types of damage ..take the risk ...but ..it likly wont turn your favor 1/2 way though the match ///
mages are like farming abby ...but constant ...so if u dont have your resistances up ...your a sitting duck ....no defence other than the type of att they are using will defend you ....other than enurance ..and thats not really a defence ...mages have bsol..and will use it as life instead of enurance ..so be aware ..u cannot see thier mana ..during a fight untill the next patch ...so for now they have god mode ..where u cannot see when to attack or when to stay put becouse u cannot see thier mana ..so u cannot see their life they are depending on to stay alive..their enurance isnt a factor ..nor your defence ...however ...thier defence IS at risk ...only a mage with str invested in their gear ..or a shield will give them any defence ...so ...u DO NOT NEED AHY ATT RATING TO HIT THEM as a fighter or a ranger unless they have a shield ...or armor ..witch wil instantly identify themselves as an imposter mage and u need very little att rating pending their lvl to kill them ...a lvl 100 mage with a shield can be destroyed with archadic blight if u land it on him ...do not let them get away...once u have a mage ...dont let him run too far ...unless your slow as hell...than ..u need teleport ....if u are slow as hell and dont have teleport or ...speed of the hare ..or light of the loafers ...well...your screwed....u must be as mobile as u can get ...run dodge ...teleport is the way to stay on top of whats going on ...and your safe spot is with high knockback resist ..and right dead center on top of them ...if they cant move becouse they are slowed ..feared ...and holly rollered ...with u standing in the middle dead on top of them ...u are totaly safe..and can beat on them....do not stand and trade ranged attacks with a mage ....they will overpower u ...unless your a lvl 100 bad [censored] ranger like viperous ..your gunna get smoked ..so rangers ..that goes for u too...u can teleport right on top of a stopped ...dumb mage just standing there ..and drop arcadic blight on them and kill them in one damn hit ...dead ..flat ...especially if they dont have bsol on ...if they have bsol on u have to hit them so hard u get all of thier mana at once ...lol..but u can do it ...and if your gunna take on a mage ..your wall....and corners of the map is how u fight them ..use your surroundings ..and ...remember to jump in the middle of them when they canot move..they cant shoot u there ...but both other classes can shoot somone dead on top of them...

yes wreker has beat me once I will admit just as he says in the post but i have beat him a katrillion times =p, also hes the best warrior I know besides jaysherman!

finally! im rather glad you made this thread... every 5 mins when im in PvP i hear things about wreker only having wins cos of play time , so ill make sure to point this out to people...

not sure if u got it yet but gratz on 5k wins for when it happens
