Okay all, my turn at trying a forum game. It's my first so let's hope it goes well...

WORD ASSOCIATION! I'm going to start by posting a word, and then each person after that responds with a word that in some way or form associates with the word in the previous post - making a long list associating the first word all the way to the last (that we can hopefully follow, lol)

Only 2 rules: The same word/association can't be used twice, and the response must be a single word/idea(hyphenated is okay). A brief description may accompany your "association" if you think the mental connection may be difficult to get easily (of which I have no doubt there will be many...)

Here's an example:

The Principal told me that I had to see the psychologist. I said "Why?" So he showed me the petition.

So I go to the psychologist and he says "I want you to say the first word that pops into your mind...

He said "house", I said "security.

He said "love", I said "affection".

He said "mother", I said "love".

He said "son", I said "life".

He said "baby", I said "renewal"

He said "well there's nothing wrong with your head...", I said "guillotine"

And you want to know how tricky these guys are, he said I want you to have this chocolate Easter Bunny, so I ate it.

And I see him writing something down, so I said "Wait a second, was that a test?" He said "yes".

Well what does it mean? he said "Well, if you had eaten the ears first, you would be normal.

Had you eaten the feet first, you would have had an inferiority complex. Had you eaten the chest fist, you would have had a latent Oedipal complex..."

I said "Go on, what does it mean when you bite out the eyes and scream stop staring at me?

He said "it shows you have a tendency toward self destruction."

I said "what do you recomend?"

He said "go for it."
