ok lately ive been playing DR on my laptop, which is in windows vista. and i keep getting "you have been disconnected from the server" and its annoying the hell outta me! when im on my desktop computer, this doesnt happen at all, even if im lagging like a [censored], it doesnt disconnect me.

i dont think its my connection cuz i have a pretty good and fast connection. now if my laptop cant handle DR, then wouldnt it just crash or stop working? if vista cant handle DR, it would just crash to prbly. cuz even after i click ok after the message, i can still relog in, but after a few minutes itll disconnect again.

this is really annoying me and maybe u guys can help me. it happens alot! like lets say i play for 2 hours, it will prbly say "You have been disconnected from the server" like atleast 10 times..

Vista is not officially supported for DR. That being said, many players have it and can play with few problems. Have you tried running in Windowed mode (alt+enter)? That seems to be the best way to run DR on Vista.

oh dam really? is that proven to fix/delay some problems? mmk thanks ill try that. ill get back here if im still having some problems.

yea my desktop computer is a windows xp so DR plays fine there..

edit: wait.. but like i said.. wouldnt it just crash instead of disconnecting me if its not fully supported by vista? cuz after i get that message i can still click ok, relog in, and play again.. but itll happen again in a few minutes..

edit 2: naw man.. i tried doing the window mode trick.. but it still happened. but i noticed that it took longer to disconnect tho, but it still happened.. omg this sucks.
