So I've been hearing about the upcoming PvP awards and about how existing wins may be counted. I decide to go over to PvP and 3 times out of 4, within one minute of the match starting, I get an "unhandled exception" and the game closes which is read by PvP as "leaving the match," and I spend the next 5 minutes looking like a little yellow [censored]...(sorry for language).

Yes, I have spoken, and am speaking, to NCsupport I was just wondering if anyone might have any ideas.

I'm running Vista 32-bit.

Have you tried running the game in Windowed mode? This solves some crash problems for Vista users. I don't know whether it will help in PvP, but it's worth a shot.

I am no way shape of form a support team for NCsoft however I also encountered this problem before. What I did was like ripper said if you go into window mode alt+ent it wont happen (well maybe once in a 1000). However I also noticed the problem when I would be in PvE then logged into PvP.

So I simply just exited the game completely, even existed NCsoft on the bottom right tool bar and running the game completely all over. This only takes maybe 30 secs so wasn't a big deal to me. That is of course if you dont want to play in windows mode and coming from playing PvE.

Actually, I do play in Windowed mode, but thanks for the tip. I'll try restarting next time- worth a shot anyway.

EDIT: Tried it again after restarting. Almost got through the match (that I was dominating) before crash...this really sucks.

So I guess nobody employed on the forums is going to chime in here? "Talk to NCsupport" is the cure-all? I'm still losing matches due to DR crashing, and it's really irritating!
