Where to put points..
#45134 - 01/22/08 02:30 PM |
Hey all. I'm a low level (14) ranger, so I'm a bit nooby, and I need some input. What are the best places to put points as a ranger when I level up? (As in endurance and stuff) I've kind of been evening it out, but I want my ranger to have his stats (or whatever they are called) fitted best for what he does, and not just evened out. Thanks in advance. |

The basic that a ranger needs is Agility and Endurance. Strenght doesnt does anything to a ranger then upping his defense rating, so its useless to spend points on it as a ranger. Intellect is only something you should look too if you sometimes run out of mana, if not, then its no problem. So there you have it, Agility and Endurance, and Intellect too if you got problems keeping up enough mana. For the amounts I'd say enough endurance to stay alive and where you feel comfortable with, and the rest in agility. If Intellect needed then as much as needed to maintain the amount of mana you have. (Note: You can also increase the amount of mana you need with the Bookworm Passive, obtainable at the mage trainer) |

If you have problems with Mana, try finding Mana steal gear, I am currently wearing gear that gives me 3 or 4% Mana steal. -------------------- Level 72 Ranger |

Try this, put all points into end and find pure agility gear. You will have mana problems so use DS. -------------------- Smoke N' Play |

well all of my chars so far have been rangers and ive tested EVERY combination out there. my adivice is go all agil and pick up what ever points you need on end from armour bonuses. The above proved useful until lvl 40 and at that point swap to an AoE ranger (area of effect) then you need more int than before allowing you to farm exp point quickly as ur killing most monsters off at the same time. this can be used upto lvl 100 if need be but at a higher level i would combine the two to give me AoE skills and critical hit gear to clean them off even faster. -------------------- RangedRange - 730 pvp wins - level 10 <-- click for build... I prefer to go 3/4 Endurance and the rest Agility, and use high Agility armor/weapons. Demon Sniper ![]() -------------------- Level 72 Ranger |
