I would just like to tell the people that I speak with/respond to regularly on the forums that I have decided to take a "sabbatical" and just play DR like I did when I first started, and not visit the forums for a while.

Apparently I am somehow letting myself get too involved with the daily forum "crap" and I dont like it - I enjoy DR less than I did before I started posting on the forum, and I think I need to take my own post advice seriously and just play the game for what it is - a game for enjoyment.

I love DR, and somehow the forum is making me like it less - maybe its all the arguing and negative comment posts. Whatever it is, I joke alot in game and in forum, but recently I feel as though Im back in college on some sort of twisted debate team everyday. Its not "me", and Ive outgrown pettiness, so I gotta call the forum quits until further notice (hopefully).

Not tooting my own horn, I just wanted to let some people that I like to correspond with all the time know that I wont be answering pm's or getting involved in any postings until I "like" playing more than I "like" arguing, again. Thanks, Cory.

You do not know me, (hell, no one does), but I hope to see you return. I have enjoyed reading your informative and yet funny posts. I understand were you are coming from, and what you are doing makes sense.

Teclis dont get involved in what you dont want to. I use the forums to communicate with friends and have made alot of friends over the forums and have learnt alot and have hopefully helped alot of people aswell.

The forums is a community and there will always be complainers no matter where you go but just stick around.

That doesn't really apply here, Baylord; because from what I can gather he is only taking a break from the forums: he isn't quitting, and it isn't anything to do with the game itself. Neither is he complaining about anything on the game, except perhaps the community: which, I agree, is slightly negative (but really, show me ONE online community that isn't. The DR community, IMO, is much better than many).

Besides, you sort of just proves his point...

Thanks for the backup necro, I'm sure I'll get your back when the time comes. And baylords, the only thing I'm going to "eternally quit" is rubbing my hands in the troll drool that is slathered all over this forum, starting now.

My therapist says that interaction on forums is good for me anyway - it gives me an outlet so I don't want to beat people to a bloody pulp in my "real" life. HA! j/k

I used the forum mainly to learn build from past experience players when i first start out : D
If you encounter a troll like baylord, just skim through em or like me just put em in ignore. =]
they got nothing left to do and they have low self esteem, so trolling on the forum is the only way to make it self feel good, even through his reading comprehension is lacking.
