After downloading and playing the game AVG spotted 15 trojan horses. Happened to anyone else?

No. Four possible explanations. 1: Coincidence. 2: You're spreading rumours. 3: Your AVG is broken. 4: Some strange reason I cannot think of. I'm inclined to believe 3.

I run AVG 7.5 Professional and, Necro - I would say it is number 4 - the reason you can't think of is that he was already infected before the download!

That would actually come under 1: Coincidence. He happened to be infected at the time, but not from DR.

This game is everything but a virus source, I can guarentee that. ANY harm to a computer thats caused to THE GAME DR I will pay for 100 bucks to the person that has experienced it, and only virusses made by the game, in exception of a Game Root Kit, where some rumours are still there, search is your friend.

Just to make clear DR is harmless..

This issue has come up before, specifically with AVG:

Linky...

It was due to a false positive being reported by AVG after an update had been applied. While anything is possible, I would assume this to be the case for you, too. Have you tried updating AVG? Are the definitions current?
