Though I have truly enjoyed my considerable time in the world of Dungeon Runners it is not my favorite all time MMO. My first true MMO experience was the private beta test of the original Asheron's Call from Turbine/Microsoft. AC is now seven years old and for depth of gameplay, depth of character building, completely unique lore and environments, integrated crafting and tinkering systems, and hectic combat it is possibly the best MMO ever developed. Unfortunately Turbine allowed rampant use of third party mods and the game has suffered from combat/xp bots and many other damaging exploits like Aliegence XP chains. A recent graphical update, constant monthly updates, 7 years of content, and level 250(!) cap, make Asheron's Call the deepest MMO experience available today. I did however vote for Dungeon Runners in the poll. -------------------- ------------------------------------------------- MamaAnarchia Level 100 Genius Arch Arcane Mage Parkaboy Level 59 Athletic Seasoned Poison Ranger CayceP Level 28 Muscular Hardened Fanatical Fighter Edited by Mama_Anarchia (01/07/08 03:30 PM) |

Earth and Beyond... hands down. It died a quick death and pissed some people off, had a great story that was never really followed upon, concept was incredible, and EA pretty much just planned out its death throws before it even left beta. But, the community is what made EnB my favorite MMO. |
