I have seen some, there kind of rare and no, I dont have one, being a mage I tend not to save non-rainbow ranger/fighter items. If I find one when I get back to farming I'll post a photo or something. LJC, I got shoulder pads that are probably better than the gear you currently have: Infected Beefy Pads of the Zippity Newt Level 88 +71 Agi +17 End +1% Movement +3% Ranged Attack Speed +74 Poison dmg/sec Send me a tell when you see me on and I'll give them to you. EDIT: I checked - it's a non-member item so it should be good to go. F -------------------- Freesia - 7 days, 16 hours, 42 minutes to 100 Edited by FSeries (01/16/08 06:24 PM) |

Thank you very much, those are quite a bit better than my current shoulders, I just need a few levels to use 'em Still keeping an eye out for ranged attack speed increase RINGS, but haven't seen any. -------------------- Whisper me in-game: LongJohnCosby 100Ranger TomakBarrelmon ~20Warrior VelekTarrant ~18Elementalist/Mage |

Quote: I've seen +ranged attack speed rings but none close to your level. I'll try to keep the nonmember ones that drop...I've unwittingly sold off a lot of them. -------------------- Freesia - 7 days, 16 hours, 42 minutes to 100 |

Info in the first post is very out of date, I now am level 89 and have these items equipped / lined up: Rings: still none! Amulet: 1% (48 Certified, Pre-Pwned Uber-Most Amulet of the Dreaded Dragonfly or 56 Uber-Most Amulet of the Dreaded Dragonfly (Consists Mostly of Non-Hazardous Materials)) Body: 1% (69 Nacho's Conquistador Cuirass (Do Not Iron)) Helm: 2% (96 Jackalope's Visage) Shoulders: 3% (88 Infectious Beefy Pads of the Zippity Newt) Gloves: 6% (100 Lethal Paws) Boots: 6% (78 Lethal Basilisk Hide Boots of the Zippity Newt) Weapon: 11% (89 Duke Blaster) What I've got is already putting me at the (probable) cap of 0.27 / 0.13 with TFF, but I'm gonna keep stacking on the bonuses to find out for sure, and after that I can experiment with swapping in other pieces. As you can see, a lot of it is getting wayyyyyy out of date compared to my level. I've been farming Sally in Ratsputin while we still can (no more rainbow sally as of the next Chunk) but it's still very hard to get what you're looking for from her, so if anyone's got something, let me know. -------------------- Whisper me in-game: LongJohnCosby 100Ranger TomakBarrelmon ~20Warrior VelekTarrant ~18Elementalist/Mage |

I've been level 100 for a while now, and have maxed out most items: Rings: 0%, I think you guys are mistaken about them. Helm: 2% (98 Jackalope's Visage) Amulet: 2% (93 RB Dragonfly amulet) Body: 2% (100 purple armor) Shoulder: 4% (100 yellow armor) Gloves: 6% (100 Lethal Paws) Boots: 7% (100 yellow boots) Weapon: 13% (99 Duke Blaster) The only thing I think I'm missing are these rings which I've never seen and 8% boots, which I'm keeping an eye out for. That being said, in the new patch (build 107?) there are a new type of gun that's even faster than poppers & repeating crossbows, and I hope there's a rb version of that ![]() -------------------- Whisper me in-game: LongJohnCosby 100Ranger TomakBarrelmon ~20Warrior VelekTarrant ~18Elementalist/Mage |

I wont be so happy before it actually is proven. I personally dont think those guns are faster. Lucicrous is Lucicrous, A gun is a gun, and thereby shouldnt have different speeds. |

Correct LR, but this goes in the same category of that other post we were talking about regarding different weapon speed for different weapon types in the same "class" (i.e. swords, axes, etc.) I think someone posted the linky to that old discussion about ranged weaps in that other topic.... A normal speed...uh... "hunting crossbow" (I forget the dang actual title) is faster than a normal speed plain "crossbow" if you get one of both and switch then out and look at your speed. Its .43 for the normal one, and .40 for the other one. At least it was with the two I had recently.... We're gonna have to get a dev answer on this eventually or we're all going to tear our hair out (or what we have left of it anyway...lol) -------------------- Swiper |
