I think ads on the DR website is a great idea~~~ but please, no pop-ups. They do all sorts of annoying things, such as clogging up my start bar and causing all the tabs to congeal, or activate the yellow ad-block bar. |

I havent made a real suggestion here yet, and since I'm a member the ad thing hasnt effected me, but an idea hit me when I got a pair of "ultramarine sneaks" the other day. How about mythics that are "branded" and extra-good so people REALLY want them (well more than I REALLY want a lot of rbws now...lol) Like "SWOOSHers", rbw NIKE sneaks that are overly large on your toon in game, sporting a big nike swoosh logo, but they give you big +agi and +spd boosts compared to other rbws. We have Death by the Slice, and we could have , "Death by the Slice - In 30 minutes or death is free!" (like dominos used to be...) and instead of the blade that item could have a pizza box image with dominos logo. I dunno, seemed to fit into the flavor of DR. Plus, Im pretty sure when some guy is playing and wps to town and someone runs by with a dominos box on a stick, first he's gonna think, "Hey, I want THAT item." And then, "Hmmm, I AM kinda hungy, doesnt Dominos deliver this late?" Thats all I could think of guys besides my normal "Hey, just pay $5 and we dont need ads." schpiel, lol.  -------------------- "The future is in your grasp, be sure to reach for it before hands more determined and bloody than your own wrench it away." |

I don't think the average DR player thinks enough to make connections between flashy equipments and specific real-life products. =P I don't think the movie ad theater is going to work. People will simply open DR, go watch movie ads and go do something else. If it does become a reality, I'll simply watch movie ads over and over while I sit happily near my computer reading a book. |

It does, because it means people can get free King's Coins at no expense. You can't force people to sit there and watch ads, so basically people can farm KCs for free... and if the KC reward is small, then who on Earth would use it? Looting relic chests is faster. |

I have a few accounts for holding WP's, RB's, and testing and if I happen to log in to the wrong acct to get a toon I have to watch 4-5 ads before I can even get to world, depending on if the world load shows an ad or not ...
