Every time I try to enter Algernon, the game crashes and gives an error like " package read error: failed to read "......dungeonrunners\game.pkg" please verify dungeonrunners installation. Anyone know what I should do?

Have you tried going to a different dungeon location via friend or group yet? If you get the same crash no matter how you get in the dungeons then I would guess it really is on your side and to delete or move your current DR install and reinstall it.

Yeah, I can enter Dew Valley Forest no problem. I have no friends to link me anywhere so far, I am just lvl 10 mage and haven't met anyone :/

Head to world 7 and ask there. loads of nice people willing to help out those in need. Just tell them you are testing a crash bug.

If anyone can help link me into Algernon, I would appreciate it. The closest I've gotten is someone on World 7 telling me there is a file I am supposed to delete and reload, but they didn't know what one. Poop.

To fix the bug

• Open the Play NC Launcher (It opens when you click on the Dungeon Runners shortcut)
  
• Right click the entry for Dungeon Runners on the launcher
  
• Click "Repair (Consistency Check)" see ->This Screenshot<- for a better look :P
  

That will check your install for errors and repair it if needed.

Thanks, I was in the middle of doing that, and then I saw you posted I am D/Ling the new patch I guess, it's almost 500 MB and it's almost done. We shall see if it fixes it!

Downlading the new patch or whatever that 500 MB file was, fixed the problem. Thanks for helping everyone!
