Since chunk 2 I've had to adapt as a mage. My hp are less then half that it was because spells are so much more mana and I use a Bubble (something that made me laugh at folks in PVP pre patch). Now my play style is hit and run which i enjoy alot more then pre chunk twos battles of attrition. All that being said, i find more and more complaints and insults from opponents claiming i dont know how to pvp or that i'm a noob because all i ever do is run and shoot. These for the most part are the same complainers that cried about end mages. Which goes to my point that if your getting beat dont blame the person thats beating you look at what your doing and do something else. Mages are going to kite now because mages can't be tanks so if you expept my cloth wearing body to stand in front of you while you beat the heck out of me your in for a major surprise. Its not that kind of game anymore.

I agree 100% when I was an end mage noobs complained they cant even scratch me, and now when I kite they complain all I do is run.. what do they want to nerf mages until we literally are throwing pebbles at them? HOW ABOUT [censored] ALL YOU NOOBS AND GET SOME SKILLS! Thanks, case rested.

Nolan, I really found mages overpowered and dont get me into this all over again. There are serveral points a mage doesnt need to bother to, while fighter and ranger have to. Think about speed, crit, the fact mages only do magical damage and not normal damage. The fact that they got more movement speed. and Much more. Dont call me noob, you know Im not.

It's partly a problem of map layout, but there are far too many matches where stalemate is the only logical conclusion, just endless games of chase, normally melee have some chances to suceed at using closing abilities to prevent endless running - that isn't really true here, holy roller generally triggers out of range of it actually landing (if it takes the mana and triggers the cooldown on roller, then target logically shouold have been in range not latencied somewhere else), sprint (hare) is rarely available from cooldowns and/or dmg and the snares require stopping to activate, thus defeating their purpose in PvP for catching people. Server latency often doesn't help with kiting generally, people who look inside shout or roller range are really somewhere quite different.

If as a mage one decides to run and never even kite, it's quite possible to never be caught, that can make for pretty boring matches.

I don't think I'm unfairly biased against the mage class, when I play 1 it should be just as viable in PvP as others, but infinite escape advantage is not necessarily that great a mechanic with nothing terribly effective to close the gap or snare me.

Sidetrack but does PvP mana recalcs from base int not scale up correctly? Needs fixing if so.

i agree with Legend, i was mage til lvl 30 then changed into warrior coz i was bored to be mage it was to easy to kill since i was full int mage but later id pvp with mage who was so noobish to hit n run ( very nooby tactic for me ) then i changed into mage again to proove other mages that cant run to actually kill and i own ( again full int mage ) warrior have retribution but it sux for mage and rangers coz it only melee attack reflect and if u r mage with great mana u need just blu screen of life and retribution and like 60% dmg u will not get if u have luck ofcz and 1 more thing some skills of warrior doesnt work correctly on pvp like holly roller or butcher. why? coz when u hit mob hes down not only stun like players r so rangers and mages have lucky now besides when u shoot bolts u can hit me even when i am like 3 meters of it coz it make blow and hurt me bad and mages r overpowered with that too and dont call other pple noobs just copz u run like coward and u r noob to use such a foolish tactic bastards.
