DR crashing
#40817 - 12/11/07 07:21 PM

Over the 3 or so weeks I've been playing DR I have come to the assumumption that the occasional crash is inevitable (which, if so, is tolerable considering I am among the non-paying players).

Today, though, DR has crashed 3 times within ten minutes negating any progress I had made through a dungeon level.

Rather annoying, it is...I'm running Vista by the way, with IE.

Mess.

Do you remember what you were doing when you crashed? And what kind of crash it was?

Also, if it is occuring fairly often, go ahead and put in a ticket with support; there might be a conflict with your computer that they can identify.

Do you run Vista in Windowed mode or Full Screen mode? Many Vista users report crashes in Full Screen mode, so if you're using it, try Windowed Mode (alt+enter).

I don't use full screen mode. The trio of crashes that happened the other day occured while I was fighting in dungeon. If it happens again I'll post the error message.

Kakashi: the gloved hand cursor, if that's what you mean, is part of the game. As far as your problem- *shrugs*

EDIT: Happened again. Here's what it says: "DR has encountered an unhandled exception and will now close."
