Tonight I believe I was in World 3. A non-member using dial up.
I was running ot of the Horrific Dungeon of Legend when I was dropped to desktop and a browser window came up but refused to load all the way. I clicked it off and was able to restore Dr and was outside of the DoHL entrance. Later in the night in a different world again in the HDoL I was twice dropped from a fight to be shown an ad and be dropped to desktop. When I was able to restore the game both times I ended up at the Townston obilisk without injury or having died.
Don't know if the 1st thing is intentional or not but I'm assuming the ads dropping you from fighting is not.
Does seem to be some overall additional lag but other than that I'am anjoying chunk # 2.

I don't think they added ad's to pop up browser windows. Sounds more like ad-ware.

Ads should only be appearing if you actively click on the Banner at the top, the loading screen static ad, or the loading screen movie ad. Dungeon Runners won't open a browser for an ad, unless you tell it to by clicking the ad.

It does sound like there might be a bit of adware on your computer

If my pop up blacker, ad-aware,spybot search and destroy, Ccleaner and a couple of others can't stop adware [ which I run them 2 or 3 times a day ] can't stop adware I would assume many others would get the same problem.
The only page thing came up with the 1st drop after walking out the dungeon.I didn't hit the ad bar it must have done it itself somehow.

I also have a similar, if not the same problem. The game would randomly drop me out to the desktop just as if I hit alt-tab. It wouldn't exit out of the game just minimize it. It didn't open a browser window either like it would do if I had clicked the ad.

If I were to guess I would say the function that minimizes the game upon clicking an ad is being run during the wrong times. Possibly by the mouse cursor being run over the top ad banner during a fight?

I doubt it, Kol. That's a problem some of us have had prior to ads being implemented.

This is an intended addition for v0.99 for both XP and Vista. It's actually a solution to a really nasty bug that could happen on some XP machines

Ok - I just ran into this issue, but it happened immediately after a lag spike:

• Used obelisk to port into dungeon - was fed ad
  
• screen loaded in dungeon and I proceeded to target and click on monster right next to my portal (I had died fighting)
• Screen immediately minimized and I was served browser ad

In my case, it appears to be lag related. If you're playing on a dial-up connection and have high latency, I can see how this might affect you.
