It seems few people are unhappy with the changes. Now let me try to explain what to do, lets call it the Guide to solve the stupid little rants and see the MAIN patch instead of that little things you dont like, I mean.. COME ON!

The devs work really hard, we get things we really want for example LOADS of good stuff for nonmembers, 3 bank spaces, trade system.

What they get ion return? Rants of all sorts only for the freaking nerfs that come along in it.
Wonder why nerfs exist? Make the game fair and you people should be happy with it.

If you dont like this game, then why are you here? (Applies expecially to you Drac) Why do people always see the negative things like a wall and the positive things like air you walk through, you end up at the wall and start complaining, hello? Be happy with the air you got. Not enough air? Search a place with more

- YES this is one of the first times I really get pissed, find the reason.

I'm REALLY enjoying this build.

I thought the ads would be unbearable. They aren't. The only time I actually looked up at the top of the screen was when I first logged in, and when I was in town. The animated ad when I logged out didn't cause my laptop to go ballistic from lag! Hooray! I spent a couple of minutes going back and forth through a portal just to see the ad text like "Enjoy your Ad-venture." Funny stuff.

Turns out the yellow items I had in my inventory prior to this build all ended up being useable! I even had a sucky rainbow (Ultimate Rush) and that was useable! King's coin vendors I actually talk to this time around. I killed some monsters for about thirty minutes and the three yellows I found were USEABLE!!! HOORAY! I like the one page of bank space as well.

I might have to use more potions than before, but that's why potions are stackable now for non-members right?

This is now officially my favorite MMO. I can't wait for Chunk #3 now!

I agree. Despite the hiccups, this build has just propelled DR to my favorite game. Given the progressing from launch to chunks 1 and 2, this game can only get better and better. Kudos!

My ONLY concern is that with the ads being so tolerable, I question that there will be any serious reason to becoming a member now! Even myself, a happy-to-pay former member who only had to briefly quit due to PC problems, am second guessing the need to join up again right now. With DR getting better and better all the time, I'd hate to see it shut down in its prime from lack of funds!

I have to say I am having no problem with killing things in the new build. Of course I was playing a INT based mage. I'm killing things faster than I was before :} As for an identity for DR. I think the tounge in cheek art and characterization coupled with a very casual game feeling was it's identity. I would be a fan if DR started spoofing the Diablo franchise directly though. Just keep the lighter gameplay and humor.

I have a 45 Mage. The only thing that slightly irked me was the increase mana per spell. I go through a ton of mana pots now. I have to fight a little more conservatively than before. Overall, no big deal. I have already adapted my playstyle to the changes.

The one thing that made me chuckle and think "oh, what a bunch of d*cks", was having to watch the movie advertisement when exiting out of my non-member account. I can understand it when you are first logging in but when shutting down the game? LOL.

Seems that the non-members like the build but the paying members don't so much.

That stands to reason since non paying members probably got a net boost since they now have access to better equipment than the crappy greens and blues they were limited to before.

Just great guys...
Just bought a new game-time-card after being away for a few month and now I read this... Doesn't sound too god, except for when you're a free player and now get almost everything the paying players get.
Gonna check it out the next days to see if it has really become that bad, but if only half of the complaints here are true, the Dev's better hurry up and fix the mess.

There's one point that I don't think many people are seeing:

Before Chunk 2 free players could only access the weakest loot. This impacted our game balance decisions because we had to keep the game playable for free players.

Now that free players can get better loot, we decided to bring the difficulty of the game up a bit. The downside is that existing free players will have some catching up to do as their loot is woefully inadequate now.

I understand that this may alter some strategies you've gotten used to. But, you should be able to pull off massive killing sprees just as easily as before.

Hybrid melee characters should take a look at the fact that Way of the Roo now doubles your melee attack rating. This allows you to free up half of your agility and put it into endurance, strength and / or intellect. I've seen several complaints that were resolved with that bit of knowledge.

Of course, we take all complaints seriously... and will happily look at specific situations and issues that are raised.

I'd be particularly interested in hearing what strategies aren't working for you that you feel should be...
