Doing abby solo on normal for a ranger is a waste of time.. Sure its doable and costs between 10-15 pots, mages cost 20+ pots.. and you will be spending more then you get in return.

903 mana for lightning is a bit much for pve and pvp.. Stephen you told me to try PTS before i comment but to tell you the truth everything i told you before i even tried it came true. I am going to take a page out of Jays book and say this new chunk.. blows chunks.

The only people happy about this are fighters and heck i cant blame them.. Everyone gets bent over and they get stronger..

For instance i know a lvl 33 mage who use to beat a lvl 100 fighter like 9-0.. but after the patch this mage loses to the very same fighter 11-0 no matter if he used BSoL or end. We not talking about a strong fighter either.

Well i will never be a fighter so those lvl 100s friends of mine that are switching and i am sure lots will be look me up and i will give.

Now I might think the same about the fighters, many adjustments can and are being made to get people happy, before it hits the live servers. I heard from someone I dont name, and I dont know for sure btw, that changes will be made to make ranger a bit less nerfed. So will mages, I think.

For me its normal to use 10-30 pots on normal by the way, I am happy with the difficulty change, makes it pretty much more challanging. But whats 30 pots? We get higher stacks too so less soom, and with that 30 pots is 30k, IF I solo, I get around 20k a run, so that equals it a fair bit.
Loosing money? On that point I dont care, honestly.

IMO, the rangers are the most impacted by these changes. They're getting some adjustments to help out here.

I'd love to hear more about the mage issues you're seeing. I'm noticing little difference with my mage in PvE or PvP. Mana costs and damage are up, but I rarely run into mana shortages and still find my killing power acceptable.

I will do some more testing with Jay as we talked about things this morning and will keep ya up to date on how it goes. As jay also has a fighter build and I have a ranger build but we all know about rangers by now.

I also agree on the rangers as they have the biggest gripe.

Well I have ran out of mana on the pts now, but i never did before so now I carry a stack of mana pots. no prob. I do think mana is regen maybe a touch to slow.

I've run my ranger class Rainger and RaingerII on the PTS. I think some modifications on my part would make them better, which may include leveling them up. Although the system may not be considered perfect, I think I can put together a good enough BOT to make it challenging for others.
