If this is about the guide,.... and the grilled stuff. I bought the guide right away when I saw the news thing, was just put on. 70+ Pages of pure magic, I'd say. Perfect layout and very very good information. -------------------- LegendRunner - level 100 Ace something The Townstons Wiki Archive! - Boss of TT Dont Feed The Trolls! Link on main website and at announcements on the forum, 9.99 dollar, or 7.01 euro. Some benefit for me with the dollar and euro. I'd say, with 73 pages, lifetime updates, its definitely worth it. Would pay atleast 20 bucks for it. Very intresting and valuable info. Mind it isnt everything the game has, but more strategy, quests, storyline, skills ect. But do not worry, I expect more in my "life-time" -------------------- LegendRunner - level 100 Ace something The Townstons Wiki Archive! - Boss of TT Dont Feed The Trolls! Yeah, the "updates for life" feature is what really makes this offer so awesome. Most game guides just become useless ![]() About the grilled cheese in a can: I don't know if anyone out there remembers sock puppets Sifl and Olly: it was a short lived comedy show on MTV, back when they actually played music videos. Anyways, they had a character on there named Precious Roy who was always selling outrageous stuff. One time he shouted "BUY MY GRILLED CHEESE IN A CAN!" I just have random quotes from that show stuck in my head... -------------------- "Always keep your words soft and sweet in case you have to eat them" Crickette Dungeon Runners Community Manager |

Quote: Like Prima, and how they have no problems advertising updates for a Binder guide but when it comes time to actually go through with it they give those of us who shelled out $70 for both guides a big middle finger and a hearty "screw you"? ...Not that I'm bitter or anything about how those filthy [censored] screwed us twice when it came to their CoH's strategy guides and Binder Guides. |

But what about advanced strategy? IOn order to be complete, the guide should contain advanced PVP strategy, as well as tell me how to find the specific mythics that I need to complete my build at level 100. The guide is probably good for low level players, but what about your die hards who have already ground out all the dungeons? |

finding mystics to complete your build could take days if you lucky and weeks for most of the people.. the people that are good in pvp have been over 100 for quite a long time so their builds more mostly complete except for a few tweaks here or there just for pvp.. there really is no secret to finding certain mystics you either lucky you get what you want to drop or ya not.. |

Thats true, I agree with clamm, and so I do with Phobic, a PvP guide part should be added, but do not worry, life-time updates will make them, im very very sure ![]() Now.. if you want to read a funny story about getting the right gear, here ya go: <funnystory> Pretty long ago.. I wanted to be a ranger, a ranger.. like no others. So I asked everyone to say what gear they had.. hehe like no others (No link system was in yet, sadly). Came out to like Plate piercer (Unnerfed), Letahl Paws, Jackalope's visage, Buffalo Bills, Razor shackles, ahoulders where I always forget the name of, with crit too, skin like lethal paws, and 6% piercing/ranged dmg jewelery with ranged dps and full agi. (After the nerf of plate piercer I began to use one full end 6% dps ring) Now gathering all the stuff in t3 form, ouchy. Took me about 2-3 weeks to get all that stuff, except.... the Buffalo bills. I was over 2 months farming for it, and then.. suddenly.. when helping a friend with sissirat one dropped, I was happy as hell for one second, other second.. *censored* its lvl 22!! So I was starting to get depressive, having a level 22 BB, and still farming. Then a friend of me, Overpowerd, gave me a Buffalo Bills level 98, was quite happy with it, finnaly had one yay! "Want to run abby with me? And TYTYTY for the BB".."Sure, why not.".. *run* *run* *fight* *drop* *[censored]* a level 102 Buffalo Bills, very first run after the 98. The other BB of 98 wasnt soulbound yet so gave it away again. Man what was I happy I finnaly had that basterd. <funnystory> Pure example of how lucky you can be, and how not lucky you can be. Notice that was the time I was lucky and unlucky same time, could do over 15-20 rainbows an hour, yet all crap. -------------------- LegendRunner - level 100 Ace something The Townstons Wiki Archive! - Boss of TT Dont Feed The Trolls! i believe in a group doing a 3 hour farm session, that only one good rbw would drop... mind you there might be 30 others but ONE good rbw will drop and you got to be the lucky one to get it |

I do know that the dev team personally contributed their own time into making this guide, so this isn't one of those "guy in basement decides to spin up some quick take on DR" kind of guides. Just to make that clear ![]() /another shameless plug -------------------- "Always keep your words soft and sweet in case you have to eat them" Crickette Dungeon Runners Community Manager |

The only problem for me is that if I could afford the guide I'd already be a member :S |

Just bought/read the guide. It's very detailed and documents pretty much all the features of the game. Lots of good info on monster resists/weakness as well as every level and every quest, including repeatability. The guide documents all the skills and gives good advice about which spells to use. I also appreciated the explanation on the large chests and why hdol is good for farming rainbows. I'd say this guide is incredibly helpful to anyone new to the game, but still useful even if you've been playing a while. I look forward to reading further additions, especially in terms of tactics and more specific builds. |

Once the g/f is home - we share the single Membership account, since only one computer in the house is game-capable at all - she'll probably agree to pick this up ASAP. Sounds like the information inside is truly of the "woah, it works THAT way??" class ... emaning, not just useful, but DARNED useful. ^_^ |
