Different Colored Equipment or Glowing Equipment
#38772 - 11/12/07 12:05 PM

I'm fairly new to the game so my knowledge of things is not that extensive, but another thing that I thought would be interesting and visually appealing would be to make certain attributes change the color of armor and weapons. I've seen how it's possible to make monsters different colors (the green and blue Oroks for examples) so it should be possible to do the same with armor. I'm not suggesting a dye system like other MMORPS (like DAoC) but similar the the color system of Diablo 2. Would this be feasible?

I would prefer the color code to be applied to resistances and damage, than to weapons...they are already made. a color code would imply a lot of changes and then we'll have only one color warriors, one color rangers and one color mages. this is not cool...

I'm not talking about the text, I'm talking about how they are actually rendered in the game as they appear on the character. I don't see any point in messing up the text.

Ok... but thats text and is a different suggestion than what I was talking about. They aren't mutually exclusive.
