Fear - zoning out
#38489 - 11/06/07 05:21 PM

On the live server I was talking in world chat how much I hated fear & running into zone doors & exiting & somebody said well thats a bug you best report it. Now Im finally remembering to do.

Ok I was in MM level 1 when a banshee feared me & I ran into the blue zone door & zoned out to oblisk area. I was told you do not zone out the red doors & probably this was an oversight. I was on my mage cant remember exactly what level she was probably around 43. & I was soloing.

& I really hate running into walls grr is there going to be any type of resists added? I for one would love a fear resist either on equip or a self buff.

Thanks for the hard work loving the game.

One this isnt official support so if you feel it is a bug you should place an official support ticket. Look at the stickied post above this one.

There is a resist to fear called Banner of Foolish Bravery it is available from the Fighter trainer.

Actually - this is the official place for bug reporting, just not for technical support. I found this out when I attempted to submit a bug via "Ask a question" and was told to post it here :P

yep...had the same thing while I was leveling in The Tomb of Singe. I ran out and got through the red portal on the gray background. also the monsters and we had a fight there. after I finished I could reenter back in the normal plane. didn't bother me though, there are other things that bother me

I think they may have mistaken your issue to be suggestions/feedback. I'm sorry about that We certainly do accept bug reports via the petition system. ESPECIALLY if it is a bug that can be exploited.

We try to collect bug information here, but forum posts don't always give us all the information the same way a petition can. Sometimes we can only see so much on the forum side of things. Just wanted to clear that up

There may be some miscommunication, Crickette, because that's not what I was told by Customer Support. Here's the text of my support request:

Hello,

Thanks for contacting the Dungeon Runners Game Support Team.

Our developers have chosen to use the message boards as your means to report bugs to them. As you already have a thread open, we consider this issue closed and suggest that you continue your discussions on the forum.

Thanks for the canned reply. Had you actually read my email, you would see that I linked to the thread on the boards already.

Hello,

Thank you for contacting the PlayNC Game Support Team.

We appreciate the details you've shared about the issues you encountered. If you wouldn't mind, we'd like you to share what you've found on the official Dungeon Runners message boards (http://boards.dungeonrunners.com/). This is where our developers would like such things to be reported. It's helpful to see how many other players may be experiencing the same details, and our developers will have a one-stop location from which to ask everyone questions on what they've experienced.

Thanks again for your time and please contact us again if you need further assistance.

Regards,
The PlayNC Game Support Team

The Lower Wintry Crypts map in HDoL appears to be bugged. Several players have noted that they are unable to advance to the next stage/level because the map blocks the entrance to the gatekeeper. Here's a link to the thread in which we discuss it:

Both GMs state that that the devs want the bugs reported here, specifically. They also acknowledged that I was reporting a bug, not making a suggestion or providing feedback. Btw, my reply to the first response was definitely snippy, but it's infuriating to be told to do something you already stated you've done.

Scratches head ... i guess the right hand doesnt know what the left is doing. Completely agree with you about getting a canned email telling you to do something that you arleady have done. Bugs me to no end especially since I reply to hundreds of emails a day using canned replies. No reason to send that if you have already done it.
