I know its been mentioned that people get the freezin cursor problem and that its caused by intel chip sets and whatnot but i got a ati express 200 and ive been playin dungeon runners for a month and all of a sudden my mouse cursor freezes in middle or it will show a cursor in middle but another one i can guide around. Its not tolerable anymore. Its gettin annoyin.

"all of a sudden" normally = "something is broken". Something on your PC has changed to cause this behavior. I saw you posted in another thread. Did you try the alt+enter / windowed mode fix? If so, I'm assuming it didn't work?

Have you installed any new software lately? Drivers or Windows hotfixes/patches perhaps? Is your mouse acting funky outside of DR?

Nope. Just started today after a month of play and no changes. Guess we are all screwed. I can play anythin without problems except this mouse problem.

Stuff doesn't randomly stop working. It stops working because something is wrong, either with the application or your system. Since the application hasn't changed within the last day or two, it has to be your system or some component, thereof.

"we are all screwed" is both misleading and inflammatory. You're the only person who's complained of this issue with your graphics chipset (and yes, you don't have a graphics card, you have a chipset, which is not supported).

Since the normal chipset fix didn't work, I'd recommend you open an official support ticket.

Do you have latest drivers? How often would you say this happens?

Heh I almost posted this in another thread, good thing I went looking for a previous one =P

I haven't heard anyone in game mention this in a long time, but since the chunk I have started to notice a small few have had this problem....

I was online last night 6-11pm(cst) (12-11-07 on W7) and there were about 6-7 people that had an issue with thier mouse not moving. Some said it was when the cursor changed to a glove. Which to me would be after clicking "Accept" and goes to the Login Screen.
Anyway, I remember having issues with this in another game I played a long time ago, so I took them through some troubleshooting.

What seemed to fix the mouse movement problem for everyone was to run DR in Windowed mode. They would just hit Alt Enter and the problem went away. I think that some of these people would go to windowed mode then go back to Fullscreen and this also fixed the problem.

So this leads me to believe it might have something to do with resetting the mouse, which in the other game I used to play could be done with Alt-Shift-R, however this did not work with DR =\

So, if your mouse won't move hit Alt+Enter to take your game into windowed mode, this should "unfreeze" your mouse and it should respond to you.

Does anyone know if this is infact something to do with the cursor needing to be reset?

ps- This makes me think of a good question... Has anyone started DR in windowed mode and had this problem? Would going to Fullscreen from windowed also fix it?

We have a fix for this problem that will make it into our January build.

ya same with me...i just started today.i got it all ready...any way me and my friend downloaded at his house.it woked fine.i got to lv 6...came to my house did all the same and when i turned it on my mouse was freezen in the middel of the screen.other then that me and my friend got really mad and my mouse wont move at all.as i type this im re:downloading it.but if it happens again...well ill wait till mid jan to download the new patch thing
