Error I haven't Seen Before
#38215 - 10/30/07 06:37 PM |
I installed a new graphics card today, and this has been the new error I've been getting. I used to get the one because my graphics card wasn't good enough, but what does this new one mean? http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d145/Double_J169/dungeonerror.png |

Which graphics card did you buy? The new one might not be all the great, either. Regarding that error message, specifically: 1) Make sure Dungeon Runners is completely closed 2) Open user.cfg in notepad (the default location is: C:\Program Files\Dungeon Runners\config) 3) Add pipeline = vfpf under the [Display] section of the user.cfg file. It doesn't matter where as long as it's within that section. 4) Start the game and (hopefully) enjoy it without further errors. |

I got a ATI Radeon X1050, and the config file you told me to open is completely empty. |

Ok - the file is empty if you've never played the game before. Copy default.cfg and rename it user.cfg (overwriting the existing user.cfg file). DO NOT MODIFY default.cfg!. Then try the steps I mentioned. FYI, I'm sorry to say that your new card still isn't that great (especially if it's AGP) . Still, any upgrade is better than no upgrade, right?! |

I'm guessing it has something to do with my graphics card driver then. |
