Tell me please how to use passive skills!

Hi I have 2 passive skills in the skill slot on the bottom of my screen and they have hotkeys so I guess they can be used??If yes then how??Please answer! |

They are passive and do not have to be activated to use. They do have to be slotted as they are now.
