I have been reading the posts on the forum and I have seen a lot of posts about using gaseous blast as an effective mob killer. Since I am putting most of my points into strength, endurance, and agility I am wondering how one can get this up in damage enough to be an effective mob killer?

That is the dilemma for all fighters. Most do not put any points into INT and their spell damage is pathetic due to that. A fighter can use gaseous blast but it will not be as effective as for a mage.

A fighter's only real AOE is his cleave and awesome cleavage.

I've been looking for something to use when dealing with trash mobs. The little "zerglings" drive me crazy. Anything that will damage multiple mobs at once would be a huge benefit. I've found that cleave and retribution aura done help enough than just pounding the hell out of them one at a time... then again, I'm only 16

As a 54 fighter, i'd have to agree with PhobicOne. As a fighter, Cleave and Awesome Cleavage are the best AOE you're going to get. Don't waste precious hot-key space on mage spells that you won't be able to effectively use as a fighter.

i'd stear away from the acidic blight from the ranger also... it used to be an awesome help because of the defense reduction but now even with my ranger i can't tell a use for it:(
