Suggestion/feedback

Not sure if this is the place for this, but here goes...

Having just received a newsletter about Dungeon Runners, and the fact that I haven't played in a while, I thought it might be of value to convey my experience.

It is true that I tried Dungeon Runners and stopped playing almost immediately. The problem for me was that, even though I very much enjoyed the game and found it very humorous, it was extremely frustrating to be barraged with "subscriber only" items, especially HP/MP potions. It made me feel like there was no enjoyment I could get out of the game without spending lots of money.

While I can understand your marketing model, and that it is important to entice users to spend money on a subscription, I wonder if it's too much too soon, causing new players to drop the game before truly "getting hooked" to the point that they would be willing to spend money. With all the free games out there, I know that I personally expect to get a good bit out of a game before spending hard-earned income. Then again, maybe I don't fall into the target audience. ;-)

Regardless, thanks for some great games!

Just my 2 cents, and thank you for your time.

P.S. Forcing users to begin their password with a letter makes it impossible for me to use the password I remember all the time, so I constantly have to use the "forgot your password" feature. I can understand the security reasons, but thought it might be something to keep in mind.

i can kind of see where ur coming from on the getting a lot of items you can't use but like you said, it's part of getting people to pay for the game. even without membership the game is more than enjoyable.
