Blue Screen of Life (BSoL), whats the formula for this?

currently mine is rank 2/6 which reads 40% of dmg taken xfered to mana and the dmg applied to my mana is inflated by 60%...

does this mean 60% of the 40%, or 60% of the total dmg taken?

assume i take 1000 total dmg, with rank 2/6 bsol i would take 600 dmg to my life...how much dmg would my mana take?

would it be 400 + (400 * .6)

or

would it be 400 + (1000 * .6)

i wana assume its 60% inflation on the 40% that goes to mana....but there is too big a difference to assume.

if some 1 could enlighten me on how this skill converts dmg to mana itd be a big hlp, thx

Well after reading it 50 times, I can conclude (still not sure) that it is:

rank 2/6 for example, is 40% to mana.
1000 damage means 600 to health and 400 to mana.
The 400 dmg to your mana is boosted 60% so that will make 640 damage to your mana.

that is what im leanign towards from the description and intuition, but i wana make sure bc it makes a big difference

Let me help you by gathering information of all ranks.

Rank 1/6 = req level 25 30% from the damage towards mana.
Rank 2/6 = req level .. 40% from the damage towards mana.
Rank 6/6 = req level 100 81% from the damage towards mana.

All ranks last for 180 seconds and make it 60% damage to mana more.

yea the amount % of total dmg applied to life and the base applied to mana r simple, what i wana know is what the 60% multiplier (which is consistant to all the ranks..i htink) applies to...like stated above im leaning towards beleiving its 60% of the X% applied to ur mana, instead of 60% of the inital dmg done total, just wanted to chk...thx

I bought this because it was recomended, but I like it much, Its prob only good for pure INT mages. At lvl 45, I have 11k hp and 10.5 k mana, and dont feel the need for it at all.

i think the skill is useful, but i need to know the math behind it, so i can figure out how much mana = hp with bsol, so that i can make choices on hp or mana when it comes to items and overall

so if ne 1 out there knows the exact formula itd be awsome, thx
