Hi Guys, has anyone experianced the folowing:

My brother was on his fighter in horific dungeon, he was spamming heal (space bar short cut) all of the sudden it wont excecute a healing pot. by the way i have more then enough in my inventory.

if i click the pot icon it goes off no worries, but it wont with the space bar. as you can see i can use space bar in this post no worries, and in game it is still mapped to the healing pot. did space bar stop using healing pots for anyone else? and if so how was it fixed?

I get this problem as well.
It only seems to happen after I have chatted in /world

If I dont talk i dont get the problem.

I have further established that this is an account bug, as i created another charicter on the same account and healing pots now work through key board commands.

Question: You say you have pots in your inventory, but when you look at the bottom of the screen, do you see the potion icon pictured? They should be in the little circle near your skill bar, right next to the mana potions. If not, see if you can drag the potions there (I don't know if this will even work, but it is worth a shot. I think this happened to me before and this is what I did to fix it.)

Something I thought of ... Are you a member? If a non-member and you have only Major healing pots in your inventory they will show up in the circle to the left of your skill bar but you wont be able to use them.

If you are a member(or not) and you have healing pots in your inventory and the space bar won't activate a healing potion, Open up the control settings and hit the default button and hit ok. This should fix the problem. Several of us chatted about this on world 2.

What I have noticed is that I can't use the spacebar to use healing potions if I am holding down the shift key to keep from running forward when I attack. As soon as I let up on the shift key, I can use the spacebar, again.

Since your brother is a fighter, I doubt he was holding down the shift key. But, I figured I'd mention it in case anyone else has run into this.

When this happens to me I hit Enter and then space and it works again. What seems to happen to me that triggers the problem is that I somehow press / which then makes the chat box active, taking my spaces as text insteead of a potion hot key. I suspect his is what happened to the author of this thread.

Yeah nah i am definately a member, or was at the time, and the healing pot was apearing in the icon slot bottom left og the screen.

As i said before, i created a new character on the same user account and they work on that character, which is why i beleive it must be a corruption of that characters account some how. i have even tried reseting the default key, changing the key which excecutes the pots etc.. although i havnt checked it in weeks, now since my first postings, i will lookinto it again, i may also have a reply from tech support. Ive just been very busy havnt looked back into it.
