I built my ranger up with all but 20 points going into Agi. Left click is TFF and right click is Acidic Blight. I run 4 passives, BMI, TF, GymFreak, and Imp Monster Bait. Buttons 1-4 are filled with Gas Blast, Monster Bait, Spirit of the Hare, and 1 I forget but hardly ever use. For Boss farming I will switch the monster bait and it's passive over to resist and the other 2 are replaced with retribution and thickhead.

the 2 points I spent outside of Agi are 5 to Str/End and 10 to Int. This was not done for any specific reason and could possibly be moved over to Agi as well.

My gear is all pointed toward Agility with bonuses to Pierce damage and Ranged Crit. Any other bonuses for Int and End are not completely disgarded.

I will switch bows as needed depending the Boss I fight. For example, will use the Ti'eff for more health instead of a Plate Piercer when I fight Abbadon.

The idea behind my build is simple. Deal as much damage as I can with less focus on doing direct magical damage. So far it works for the most part but I do run into problems now and then. It is never good to be half asleep and fight a boss like Abbaddon or the Shadow Queen.

Even with that laid out, don't get set into that 100%. It works well for me but may not be effective with your own play style. It is best to experiment and enjoy the set up you find best for you.

You can also check this site out. They have some nice setups for Crit or Poison Rangers.
