I was logged into World 1 tonight from about 6:30PM until 1:00AM. During that time I gained almost 6 levels, bought all my skills (up to level 11) and had around 100K gold. All my ranger gear was at least gold color (with 2 purples) and I had a few level 12 items in my bank along with ~12 kings coins or so. I had JUST became a paying member at around 8PM (EST) today (that was when I got my first rare/purple item and I wanted to wear it).

At 1AM the server locked up for me (and my friends in the group). When I logged back in I was back down to level 6 and lost 100K gold, all my rare/epic items, skills, and everything in the bank.

Please let me know if I can get everything back that I lost. If I cannot, then please cancel my membership and refund the $5 (so that I don't have to tell the credit card company to refund it).

Please dont tell me about handling situations in life, I probably have children older than you.

All I know is from the time I paid for my membership, I lost everything I did. And in lookin over the boards, this is not the first time a major rollack occured. That is not the kind of game I intend to subscribe to under normal circumstances. I am willing to give them a chance to reimburse my loss, and I wil remain paying, if they cannot then I will be calling Visa to revert the charge, my time is too valuable to be paying to play something that reverts your work each and every day.

Its also pretty apparent, from my point of view (20 years as a principal engineer), that this is nothing more than a paid beta.

In any case, I am not here to debate with you, I am here for an official response. If I don't get one, no sweat, visa will revert the charge and I am gone.

If you lost any levels or items in last night's crash (September 1, 2007 @ 12:04am) on World 1 then please send a private message to Anson with your information.

Sadly, we cannot return your lost levels or items. I totally understand your desire to leave the game. I'd be mad as hell if I lost a bunch of levels and items. If you want to make any changes to your account, please visit PlayNC Support Page and contact our friendly support staff.

I apologize for any problems that you have encountered. We're looking into the cause of this problem and will resolve it as quickly as we can.

well thats a shame but thats why you should play on other worlds due to server 1 has always had a few problems and not as if your a high level getting back what u lost would be easy when your in ur 60+ levels then that would suck.

Incidentally, last night I started a newbie again (I did not want to play the character who took the loss just in case they needed to look at it). I suppose this message was a bit harsh, but Steven's reply amazed me. i have never seen support like this in ANY game.
