With people having up to three characters now, it would be nice if we had the option to add a user (all his personas) as a friend so we can see if thay are on-line no matter what character they are using.

This is something I definitely DON"T WANT. I've been waiting for the multi-character upgrade specifically so I could have a character to play without other people knowing I'm on-line and bugging me to play with them.

Maybe if there was some way of being able to hide a character if you want? Then this idea might be ok.

We're avoiding that so that players can have 'quiet' characters, if they want to just hack and slash and not chat. If your friend wants you to know if they're online under other names, he or she can tell you the other names, and you can /friend them manually.

Hmmmm... I'd have to agree with this. But, I wouldn't mind my iggy list being copied over.

also it would be really inconvenient in the long run. If someone didnt tell you they had created a character, you would get tons of names that you had no idea of who they were showing up in your friend list, and having to sort them out and find out who is who would be horrendous

I would like the ability to add a friend if they are on a different server or not on line at all something like /friend name

The other day I had to switch servers to get a friend on my list.

Have you tried "/friend name"?

If you type "/help" a window will appear, detailing all of the /commands available in the game, and how to use them.
