Has anyone else noticed this.
#33392 - 08/26/07 02:38 PM

I've been running Abbie for a while now. Have a basically all my gear towards +fire resist.
But I noticed that I had left my walking around rings on both +size increase. So I change them out to my Circus Ring +110 agi and my +54 str/agi with +melee damage.... att rating went up to 13-14k and I missed 50% of the time.
Switched back to both my Lost One's with +218 end. Dropped att to around 10k and hit him 80+% of the time. To me it makes no sense at all.

Any thoughts?

If I had to guess the Random effect in the damage range code ie. Rdm(1000 to 2000)+100% is maxed out because the of the devs using the "min"(1k) or "max"(1k) as an int rather then a float. and its stuck doing damage around the minimal amount an int can take.. dont know the exact #, but I know a float # has more #'s it can take. Its a logic error, the harder type to see the real effect of.. and yes I see it too now that you mention it. I've been steadily dwindling my Agil OFF from my regular 3str/2agi/1 end. to increase endurance recently. THIS DEFINATLY NEEDS MORE RESEARCH.

Okay so I'm not loopy:)

Actually now I've dropped my att rating to about 8k and hit as often as with 10k but I do more damage because I've upped my str.... 2 slothful 1h'rs but with speedbonus's I still get a .41 attack speed out of them.
Of course with my 2 Moonglaze I can get it down to about half that.

That depends on your level at 100 it is needed IMO. Put you AR up to a point where you dont mind the miss rate. Dont concentrate on the exact number.
