Questions From a New Player
#33167 - 08/23/07 01:33 PM |
I've been an MMO fan for years, and am currently enjoying World of Warcraft and Guild Wars. I picked up Dungeon Runners based upon good reviews and word of mouth, and liked the game enough to pay for a subscription (for the enhancements the subscription offers). I've only played for a few hours, but I do have a few questions I'm hoping someone could answer for me: 1. I understand as a paid member, my potions should stack. My health potions are stacking, but my mana potions are not. Is this normal? 2. Loot dropped to the ground can be hard to see, especially in grassy terrains. Is there any command to pick up all dropped loot? Or at least a command to highlight the dropped loot? 3. Assigning spells/attacks to left and right mouse buttons was a stroke of genius. However, it's awkward to cast spells assigned to the hot keys. In most MMO's, with a mob selected, pressing the hot key enacts that action against the mob. In dungeon runners, you click the hot key, and then select the mob to apply the action to. Is there a way to change this? 4. I cannot seem to find any class trainers for new spells special attacks. Granted, I did not make it out of the beginning area... where can I be trained in more spells? Thank you all for your help... |

1 Only major pots stack, minor ones dont, the ones that arent stacking must be minors. 2 No auto pick up, but hold down left ALT and it will highlight items. 3 Not that I know of 4 There are three trainers, the ranger one is slightly SW of the portal in townston and the mage and fighter trainers are slightly NW of the portal. -------------------- I am Fump |

Quote: 1) As the previous poster said, only Major pots stack (they have a larger icon and a 'glowy' border). Your mana pots must be minors. 2) You can either hold down alt to see all the items or (this is what I do) go into your General Options and change the option to allow item name toggling, so you only have to hit alt once and all the item names stay displayed for that instance (when you leave and return you will have to hit alt again). 3) Not that has been found. 4) When you go to Townston (through the big black obselisk in the starter area) there are 3 trainers - in fact you can pick up a quest right away that has you running to each of them so you can get familiar with their location. They are all located around the Obselisk in the center of town. |

i dont know about having to re-toggle when you return. i hit the toggle once a week ago, and havent had to re-hit it. (the exception being i turn it off during some fights because it interferes with targetting with too much stuff on the ground). |
