Downloaded PTS from FTP - Trojan/Virus found?!?

Hey all - I downloaded the PTS today from the FTP site - and AVG Antivirus found the 'Generic.UMS' trojan. I'm hoping this is a false positive. Anyone know anything about this? |

Aha! A search found a similar thread today (I searched 'virus' not 'trojan' before posting this one). Looks like a false positive by AVG. I'll scan it with another client just to be sure. thanks! |

I use AVG as well and didn't get a problem. I've got two scanners going and neither of them objected to the PTS client. -------------------- Folding@Home - Save some lives. i downloaded the pts setup and i got the avg virus thing too and it isnt working for me now... when i now clikc on the setup exe it comes up with '' windows cannot access the specific device or path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permission to access the item'' some on help me please? -------------------- /Kabs/ Edited by kabs101 (08/22/07 09:00 AM) |

i got no such problem, i have mcafee though, after reading this i scanned it and found nothing |

I use MT and it has no problem with the PTS download from FTP site GW  |

There is another thread about this issue in the Bug and Technical Discussion area, just so you guys know. Thanks for all the input guys.
