Okay some tricky business I fear...

With the version of the PTS prior to 88 here, I went on abut 2 or 3 days ago and it did not copy my character from the live game. Sooooo I went and made a new charcter of a different class. This worked fine, however, now with the version 88 patch I am unable to log in.

Initially the program would just keep starting main screen with the acknowledgement of being on a test server every single time after I picked the PVE world. One time it then came up saying this account is in use, so I logged into the regular game and did a "logout" from the options menu. Then the PTS version of the game went back to just taking me to the startup screen every time I picked the PVE world
I am told "this charcter is in use."

I am unable to log into the PTS server and am thinking it's due to a difference in the accounts since the patch is meant to allow for more character slots, or at least that is what I understood it was going to allow.

I don't know what can be done to fix this other than to set some flag for all accounts to make sure everyone who logs into the PTS, that their account, absolutely makes a copy from the live game and sets the account in order accordingly for the new patch.

Just sharing my experience with the new version 88 pts and hope this will help make sure that when it goes live a whole bunch of players aren't suddenly shut out of playing, as that appears to be what could happen based on my experience.

Im having this exact problem right, no character selectionscreen, just booted back to login.
