Passives for Fighter?
#31416 - 08/04/07 11:58 AM

What should consistently be kept on your bar? I'm assuming Gym Freak and Way of the Roo. Other than those two, what other Mage and/or Ranger passives would you use frequently? I say frequently, because I know there will be times when you might switch out others...

Off topic, but I also notice a lot of people using Soul Rend...is this a MUST have fighter skill? I hadn't planned on using it.

I use average BMI for extra HP.

It depends. It gives you some significant extra DPS, and it's even better with dual-wield (because it cools more quickly), but you need a decent amount of mana leech or a larger-than-average-warrior mana pool to keep it going all the time.

If you're using a slow two-handed weapon it's not so great.

My lvl 22 fighter uses:

Gym Freak
Couch Potato
Mental Prowess

As for soul rend when using 2x 1 Handers I use it on left mouse button, when using 2 handers I have cleave on LMB instead.

yeah I have mana leech (2% total I think) and its a MUST HAVE imo. My dude only has 170 mana or so (lvl 28) and w/ mana leech I can have cleave and soul rend going all the time in addition to gaseous cloud, acidic blight, and the other spells I cast.

As for passives all I have are roo and the strong BMI one

Definitely on purples, as I have armor with it. Might even appear on yellows, tho I've recently sold a bunch of my old stuff and I can't tell anymore.

It is very rare on yellows but have found a number of purples with it on.

right now I keep way of the roo, gym freak, and bookwyrm on for passive. I have tried switching out bookwyrm for bmi but missed the mana boost.

depending on the situation sometimes i will also add on a ward, extra crispy monster bait, or toxic talent, etc.

Sorry I got lost earlier....

Right now I have Gym Freak, Way of the Roo, Average BMI, and Fire ward since I'm running Abbie.
left click is 1h/2h swivel depending on my weapon, Acidic Blight, Gaseous Blast, Thick Headedness, and Fire Resistace, the 4 passives, then Holy Roller on right click

I use very little mana with this set up. and it's a good thing since I'm sittin with a whopping 34 int right now ... up from 1 int:)
