The description for the upcoming patch seems to indicate "group" focus. Does this mean if I'm not in a pre-existing group, I won't beable to get in? I'm a little confused on how this will work...

there are no guilds....but PVP is a group thing...HMMMM

You can go in solo, as a group of 1 from my understanding.

But you might have trouble finding a match i'd think.

The main thrust of the new PvP is group vs. group. However, a group of one is still a group!

The matchmaking system doesn't force the groups to be equal in size... just similar in strength. So, a solo level 50 player could be matched against a group of two level 22 players.

This system seems to be working well in our testing. I look forwrd to seeing on the PTS in the next week.

monday gone ...and no word

Ok so ive been killing abaddon looking for my lvl 100 rainbow melee crit chestplate and still not aquired it yet ...last i read in this post is that the new patch would be here this week and its friday evening now..i understand u are wanting to take quality over speed ...but we would like to know where u are at with it .....is there a new PTS patch release date?....if so can we have some idea of when that is?....just ..a clue ..lol

LOL if you are just starting playing (if not you already know this) you will learn that the devs of this game do not like giving dates mainly for this very reason. There were major delays pre-public release in patch releases. When Stephen puts a date out it usually is pretty close to it b/c he so rarely puts out dates.

Well since I posted the question on the 4th of beginning or end of the week and it didn't get answered. You posted a where is it question on Friday and I can tell you it won't even get looked at til Monday at the earliest.

I'm think maybe the trip to Cali has put a kink in the works or that there is just such a glaring porblem that the build is unsuited even for the PTS.

Just my opion on the matter

come on you're talkin about the guy that got a 1 int by default because the devs made it so you can't have a zero for a stat:)

And to stay on track I was so hopin for the PTS to get the new build this weekend:( sigh I guess I'll have to spend time with the family since Sunday is the wifey's B-Day

Also to expand on my point earlier... posting this question at 4:51p.m. on a Friday with 7 people in Cali trying to promote NCSoft and Dungeon Runner. Not gonna be answered til Monday at the very earliest and more than likely we'll just eventually get the new build without ever hearing a single word from the Devs.
