Small note about the new mob pathing in HDoL
#27369 - 07/04/07 04:59 PM

It's not a big issue, basically because you can jockey around until you get a good line finally, but does anyone else notice shooting with a ranged weapon in HDoL, primarily when trying to take out healers before the others (for obvious reasons) that the other mobs move back into your path each time you adjust, a bit more aggressively than before?
Just noticing it is taking me a lot more "finesse" to get position on healers these days and wasn't sure if that was intended in the pathing/ai change or not. If it was on the plus side, from a suicidal monger perspective it is certainly a bit more realistic the way they mob onto you hehe. But definately more of a challenge to take out specific mobs in a specific order with a ranged weapon now

Yes!! I have noticed this lol. Healer fights take absolutely forever now, but the turkey leg really helps. It resets.. oh.. 4 or 5 times at least each healer fight.

Good someone else notices the extra challenge hehe means I'm not quite as crazy as I thought
Extra challenge is good anyway, as a ranger I plow things through things fast hehe a little balance isn't an incredibly bad thing
