Error logging, corrupted data,unreadable, crashing
#26922 - 07/03/07 03:23 AM |
Ugh this is getting REALLY annoying. Ok first I had a problem where the file was corrupted. I uninstalled, reinstalled. Problem solved, launched game. Game crashed: Topic on that can be found here: http://boards.dungeonrunners.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=26917&an=0&page=0#Post26917 After, out of the blue. I got ANOTHER error, The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable. But I just finished re-downloading it and re-installing it? Another error that popped up was Dungeon Runners failed to open / create logs\DungeonRunners.log Error logging unavailable. Why am I getting these errors? Before it was working fine, but then I had to do a system restore to a previous date and now it's busting out on me.. |

Please make sure that when you uninstall, you are removing both the NC Launcher as well as Dungeon Runners using the Add/Remove Programs on your system. Then just to make sure you got everything, check to make sure the system has deleted any folders maked Dungeon Runners or NC Launcher in your program Files, delete any you find there. Now do a fresh download of the Setup at ftp.dungeonrunners.com and run that to install the client. If you are still having issues, it may be due to the system restore you did recently on your computer. Please contact our Technical Support team (instructions in a sticky at the top of this forum). They will be better able to troubleshoot your specific problem. Thank you, Kit -------------------- "Making games better one bug at a time..." |

We had this problem at our house until we disabled the firewall. No more corrupted data, etc. Worked on all three computers playing the game. |
