Dump everything into agility. The hp can be taken care of with HP pots and gear. All you really need is one chest piece that has nothing but endurance. The rest of the gear you can have with either "of the Newt" or "of the Manatee." "Of the newt" gear gives you roughly about a split of 75% agility, 25% endurance. Manatee gear gives you an even 50%/50% split of agility and endurance.

You may be extreme and use "of the hawk" gear which gives nothing but agility bonus.

The other modifiers such as attack speed increase or critical are up to personal preference.

My total stat points into endurance are just from items. With 370 endurance I have 17.5k health points. I have 1341 agility points with gear and pumping agi. I shoot at .30 using Trigger Frenzy, and I have an 18.81% critical hit chance where I can do up to 7.5k damage in a third of a second...which is not uncommon for me.

Tachan has the best idea of what to do... I know because if he didn't then he wouldn't be able to solo shadow queens in several seconds, just amazing, the power of a ranger when played right.

Wow. I prob need to respec then. I respeced around level 10 or so and put most of my points into Agi and some in End for HP. Now when I gain levels I put in 3-4 in Agility and 1-2 in End. So based on what Tachan is saying I shouldn't put anything in End.

Hmmm...makes sense. Guess I need to get that D2 style building out of my mind. hehe.

Also helps that I'm a recent member because now I can use and stack the big potions.

That is not always the case. My fighter with close to 15K defense can survive with much lower HP because I can stand in the middle of a mob and have my regeneration kick in. With misses scrolling over my head. For rangers this may be the case but not true with all builds.

For rangers defense is moot anyway. It's so low that it doesn't even factor in. If you're a ranger you shouldn't even look at defense. Pick the gear that has the stats you like.

New ranger here, all of 4 levels =)

What about Intellect? Does noone put points/gather items with INT stats?

Isn't mana important for Ranger spells?

Ive been looking for mostly +agility/+ranged rating/ +dps gear, and I take the INT when I see it.

Mostly all of my levle points have gone into agility.

I have not focused on Endurance at all because I really only play with my boyfriend and he is a warrior/fighter. Usually he charges in and gets all the aggro and I pick em off from a distance.

Int will come from stuff like jewelry. That's more than enough. If you're lacking, you can always put some points into int and respec later one as you find gear. Sooner or later, you want to dedicate one piece just for endurance if you plan on using high agility pieces. The chest piece offers the highest stat boost out of any armor piece. I'd use that for all my endurance. After that you can focos all other pieces for mostly agility.

The problem with agro is that it goes to whoever has the lowest hit points. I suspect if you don't find some endurance items later, your bf will not be able to tank for you. Thankfully, next patch which comes out in a few weeks, we'll get an agro skill that will grab agro and put it on you. It's called Offensive Gesture.

Int depends on your playstyle too. If you don't have a lot of ranged critical gear or ranged inreased attack speed gear, you might need some intellect to boost your damage. I do more damage just shooting and critting, or shooting really really really fast. I don't use mana but to cast my buffs and resists...and the occasional turkey leg.

Alright I've been a ranger for a day or so now and I followed what Tachan had to say. I'm able to solo pretty much any boss except the harder ones at Hdol and ones that are 45+.
My equipment is horrible and yet I was able to level up just fine with all my stats in agi and the 172 end I had was from armor. Just trading maybe 10 agi can get you a good 70-80 end onto your character so it's worth it, rangers hit hard enough as it is. As a level 30~ ranger I'm able to level at shadow embrace.

What? 10 is the base stat a level 1, regardless of class. I dumped all my stat points, 495 at level 100, into agility. After that all my gear is 3/4s agility and 1/4 endurance. Intellect is from jewelry.

I also reset my toon to follow the pure agility build and kill stuff a lot faster but use a few more pots. Had to change my gear slightly to add some endurance stuff as for the most part my gear was pure agility.

I like it better than what I was doing.

If you dont die, you have enought endurance. Put everything else into attack stats (agi or int or both, depending on build). If you begin to die, put more endurance. All very simple
