I'm a level 22 Warrior, Premium Account. Maybe I've been naive up until now but to dual weild is it really as simple as just taking two, one handed weapons, putting one on your weapon slot and putting the other on your shield slot? I have seen people running around with two swords before, but I thought you had to find them in a set together.

Can someone clear this up for me?

It's not hard to test this out... but you're right, they don't come in sets.

Yes, just hunt for two purple, ludacris weapons and you'll be awesome! If they both boost strength, the damage can really climb.

Also look for ludicrous speed 1-h with +attack speed on it. This on top of the +20% attack speed and the attack speed buff is quite impressive. I play around with it but still like my fast 2-h for HDoL.

Yeah 2h fast is my preference, but if you get fast enough weapons you can be a shredding machine!

I gotta say I was running 1H and Shield for quite a while, from level 8-16 probably, and it was pretty nice. Saved a lot on potions till I started encountering Poison <beasties> because you just didn't get hit. Then I found a purple 1H that had the same agi and str bonuses as my shield, so I switched to dual wield and respeced to boost my endurance and agility and it's crazy. Sure I get hit more often, but my attack rating went from one @ 1200 to two @ 1800. So at level 18 I feel I'm doing pretty well for myself. only way I'll go back to shield or a 2H is if I find a phenomenally appropriate rainbow for my build.
