So my wife isn't to happy with me
#20716 - 05/11/07 12:59 PM

Hello DR community,

I just downloaded and started playing the game yesterday and I have to say I'm enjoying it thus far. I have been playing WoW since it came out and this is really nice break, happy I came over to give it a shot.

My wife isn't to keen on me wearing "Baby Seal skin armor tho, she is trying to make me feel bad about it, but it isn't working, I'm loving the armor and weapon names, especially getting the weapons from the "Ghetto".

Just thought I would say, I'm having a good time so far and hope to continue to enjoy it.

Oh by the way, I have already invited all the people I can from my account so I'm doing what I can to spread the word.

Happy Hunting!

Invite your wife! Tell her to play mage. Some of the items for mages end in 'unicorn.' She sounds like that type.

Hehe! will do. She will love that. Except when that Baby Seal skin armor drops, she probably won't pick it up, lol.

You won't either in a few more levels. But, for entirely different reasons, I gather... hehe!

Happy Running,

lol Mavrik, just let her know that there is a "tree hugger" skills trainer located in town. That may appeal to her sensitiveness lol. I'm an animal lover and against animal abuse but if she took the time to read many of the names of items, they are so cartoony that they're just plain idiotic humor. If I can handle this game while owning an animal rescue operation out of my home and can still cope with item names as rediculous humor, then she can too. I have yet to see baby seal armor that even remotely looks like it's made from seals lol, and nowhere in the game do we ever harm a baby seal mob. I'll leave my post as it is before I get myself in trouble regarding her "cognitive perspective" towards a cartoon game.

She has gotten over it now. It just threw her for a loop when she saw it, cause we are used to the WoW armor and weapon names. She really isn't to conservative she was mainly poking fun at me, lol.

Funny, she actually plays now, also.

Have fun all.

Now that is a good outcome. We're glad to have you both on board!
