How many subscribers will DR need

Last night I was trying to figure out how many subs this game will need to stay in the black. I'm not sure how many people are working on the project. My guess is 3-5? so based on those numbers and adding salary and equipment it would seem that DR would need over 100k memberships ar $4 per month. That's a pretty high number. I really think the game has lots of potential. I hope you guys can do it. Nice job so far. |

i would like to play again and possibly subscribe, but i cant get the damn game to work and the lazy bastards wont help me get it to work again. ive tried email and posting here. this game is never gonna last with such great technical support as this. |

I've never heard of a situation where our tech support folks would ever turn someone away. Now, there are times where the issue may lie beyond their means of help (specific ISP related situations, for example, generally depend on the provider) But they will, at least, point folks in the right direction for those type of situations. There is also the chance that there is a misunderstanding going on here. This game needs a lot less than 100k subscribers to be profitable. I won't say how many, but 100k would be like golden rainbows and cash fountains.  steve |

Speaking of "rainbows", Mr. Head Developer...any chance of increasing the rainbow drops? I can't believe I haven't gotten any at all and I'm lvl 41! It's a conspiracy, I tell you! |

I was factoring in all the equipment, maintanance, overtime, salaries, maybe adding to the staff, etc....Plus I'm sure there are more then 3 people working on the project. Edited by Skeave (04/29/07 08:44 AM) |
