Quest Return Info
#16124 - 02/26/07 09:13 AM

I apologise if this has already been posted, but it's come up in chat soooo many times... please, great and glorious devs... we beseech thee... include the return to where/who information in all quests. Some quests have it, some don't.

My thanks in advance. *leaves a an offering of 70% cocoa dark chocolate*

In the meantime, if you need help with a quest, check out:

Agreed, knowing where and from who you got a quest would be invaluable. I went even further and suggested a map pointer to the quest giver NPC's, even if you have reset the instance since starting the quest.

Finding the place to DO the quest, and actually doing it is the fun part. Having to wade through seven levels of dungeon for 2 hours to find an NPC once the quest is done is NOT fun.
This game is about fun right?

I wholeheartedly agree. I don't need my hand held once I have the quest, but I don't like not knowing where to go when I get done.
An Example would be: "You Have Completed the Quest, now return to Borus the Awesome! He is in The Valley of Wickedness, Level 3"
I would take that much. Even if we don't get arrows, pointers, a gingerbread trail, fireworks in the sky, signal flares, or what have you .. just give me that much.

Even if it had a name I'd be ok. But as it stands now I have quests that say "return to me when you have finished". Lol, who the hell is ME?! I have looked long and hard at ALL the text in these quests and there is no name or indication of who it was given by.

But not to fear, they're already aware of it and they're fixing them.

Truthfully , i would like to see quest givers removed from dungeons all together. It sux to finish a dungeon , and then log on the next day and do it all over again to figure out where the quest NPC is...
