Woot, awesome.. That was a fun run.. Sheesh you do a hell of a lot more damage than I do with a bow. I can't wait until they implement a unified class so I can try out the mage and Warrior sides of the game. |

You will just swap everything into magic spells putting no effort into making the character grabbing everything that is the best, leaving you with an empty shell of a guy. It just wont be the same. |

I don't actually understand this. You kill quickly yes, but they were pounding on you for at least a little bit. If you only have 4.5k health, why didn't you die? You rely on the curse that slows their attacks? |

If you watch his health you will understand. He is using the double potion exploit. He must be carrying 100's of heal pots on him all the time, or goes back to town a lot. I have complained about the potions ruining the game for so long now its become a joke. But apparently the Devs want it that way so you have somewhere to spend your money and to encourage people to buy the membership for the stacked potions... I am sure they could find a better way to encourage people because in my opinion (and its just my opinion) Potions ruin the game the way they are currently implemented. |

Quote: Regardless of player input, they seem to do what they want. Even if they "plan" on fixes, they never seem to transpire. I've been waiting for months for a fix to "duel weild"! I agree about potions...they should have a reuse timer like the skills, which would take the "invulnerability" issue out of the game and make it more challenging. I find it amusing that some of the people who asked for a "death pentalty" are also "chain" using healing potions. |

I find amusing that of the people who don't know my gamer position make remarks ![]() First if you play with low life you'll have more challenge even with chaining potions. int Doesn't add a lot of damage, you can trade some int for end and do the same with less challenge. I'll show you a build even better using ice bolt (too powerful at high level) instead of Unnerving Shouts. With ice bolt you use like 70% less potions. In my opinion end is the more powerful stat because of potions, Potions should give a fixed amount of HP and not a % and be more expensive. I like challenge, I want DP (XP lose), Hardcore mode (like D2), stronger boss and zone you can't solo but I know it's no use to ask because they will not listen to us I think. It's a game for casual player, but I don't know how much time I'll play without any challenge or pvp. And trust me you should test a lv80 with 4K5hp if you want some challenge oeven with potions it's difficult because of stun and timer after skill. -------------------- Sorry for my English, I am French ![]() |

Having grouped with ibalaki he doesn't seem to use any more pots than I do on any given run. He's a bit higher level than I am now but the scaling of difficulty can't be that great between 66 and 80 and is most likely quantity over increases in hp/resists/dps. For example: Last night I ran eight consecutive levels of Fade Caves and gained one level from 65 to 66. MamaA is 6011H/16762M/DR1403 with INT at 674.I carry 30 Hpots when running but it's probably overkill. Total Hpot usage per instance averaged about 6-7. This includes purchased pots and pickups. I nearly always use Hpots for RECOVERY. What I mean by that is I try as hard as I can to not use a Hpot during an encounter but use them to recover on the way to the next encounter in an effort to increase efficiency. Remember kids, DR is all about efficiency. If forced to use a Hpot during combat I try and let my hp regain naturally after finishing off a group. In a sense this is a self imposed level of difficulty on a class that is by far the least powerfull and most fragile. I think though it's one of the reasons I still get a lot of enjoyment out of playing. That run from the graveyard back to the Obelisk is still about as fun as the first time, which is to say not so much. -------------------- ------------------------------------------------- MamaAnarchia Level 100 Genius Arch Arcane Mage Parkaboy Level 53 Athletic Seasoned Poison Ranger CaycePollard (50) BooneChu (8) Retired. |
