I launch the game. Log in. World selection screen appears, when I chose a world it looks like it is going to connect then it drops back to the log-in screen. Help?

Have you opened a support ticket, though? Generally speaking we don't have much visibility into problems with the network, and what little data I can see doesn't indicate any problems - so talking with tech support is the best way to get the networking team the additional data they'd need to diagnose it, and then fix it.

Im having the same problem,cant get into game.When i login it goes to the select world.When i select a world it starts to but goes back to the login screen.Sometimes with the Error Message.Character Unavailable,This character is currently in use.Please help!!!

I don't know if I have the same issue, but it sounds similar. Last weekend, I tried logging into my account after having not played it in over 2 weeks. I selected the Membership world, and as it was going to bring up my characters, it crashed out me out to a Blue Screen of Death.

I didn't panic at first, because I was aware of an ATI driver problem I had since Jan 1st. (made the mistake of upgrading when I shouldn't have) They were messed up and caused my games to crash intermittently. I tried it again, and it crashed again. I decided not to try anymore, as later in the weekend I was planning on a complete XP reinstall anyhow. I've been putting off the XP overhaul for months, since the driver mess.

Sunday, I complete my XP reinstall, had an even newer version of the ATI driver (8.4), downloaded and reinstalled Dungeon Runners and proceeded to log in. Crashed out at the exact same spot. Blue screen.

I was not amused. After a clean install, onto a new drive, I still had the exact same issue. Is the problem still me, or is it something to do with my account? So I tried my son's account. Exact same thing. Well sun over beach. So now I'm completely discombobulated.

Has something changed? Is this something that has been addressed already and I could find the solution on the forums, or should I actually submit a Support request?

Day 2 and still cannot login.

So far I have responded to tech support twice. First to describe my network setup and now a second time to change my password. I guess I will have to get through the "checklist" before someone will look at my account in depth for a problem.

Starting to get the shakes now from DR withdrawal

We haven't gotten completely to the bottom of this, but we have fixed the issue for now, and the customer support team knows we've had an issue crop up in the last couple of days. As I understand it they are looking out for the telltale signs of the problem (can't get past the server selection screen), and jumping directly to the solution in those cases.

Yes, I am able to log in again. Support indicated they reset a server to try to fix. Hopefully tomorrow I can get my daily fix of DR!

My issue maybe different then.

I tried logging in and I get to the character screen. It appears to struggle to load up the 3D toon on the selection screen and as it shows up for a split second, I either get a BSoD, or a reboot.

Tried different servers, same thing. Kinda ironic I discover this a day after my membership renewed for two accounts.

No because I'm a computer tech myself.

I just finished a clean install of Windows XP, and so far, this is the only game giving me issues.

The only possible HW/SW issue I may have that I can figure out, is the latest ATI driver 8.4, for the Radeon x1650 Pro, which isn't a very good card apparently. Since the driver update in April, I've had issues. However, was it "because" of the driver update? Tough to tell. I hadn't played DR in 3 weeks, and I updated the driver in that span.

Seeing how others are logging in, and I'm not, I'll open an official ticket.

In the meantime, the whole reason I did a clean install was because of a botched video driver update back on New Years which effected everything, but DR still worked. (kicked out to a BSoD once in a blue moon, but otherwise worked) This clean install should run batter, and it has, except for DR.

I may look into getting an earlier working ATI driver, if I can find a working process to effectively remove the current version and its file, and replace it with the earlier version.

ok so it has been a week and i am have the same thing happen to me and i have sent emails to nc and they said it should work now and it does not so if any one can help me that would be great i have been playing for 6 months and miss my DR

This may not be your issues, but... I have had similar things occur from time to time. However, mine will say "error connecting to server". Then I hit log in again, it says, "this player is already signed in". Hit it once more, and it usually works. My apologies if this does not help.

To expand on Necros post this also happens many times with me and I mormaly have to hit this Multiple times upwards of 10-15 times before it will let me logg in have no idea where the problem is but just a minor annoynance.

That happened to me too.. Its just thinking that all the time i spent on AlexRanger might not be of any use anymore.. (3 days and 12 h i think)

Made myself new char, as you see in my Sig. but this time its mage... doing ok, but still want my AlexRanger backkk!! ^^
